Es Baluard Museu presents a meeting between the painter Peter Halley, the artistic director of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Guillermo Solana, and the exhibition curator and writer, Enrique Juncosa. The activity is part of both the cycle “Thinking about painting” promoted by Es Baluard Museu and the “Pending conversations” programmed by Casal Solleric in different spaces around the city.
Es Baluard Museu will host this three-way conversation as a prelude to the opening of the exhibition “Peter Halley in Spain” which will be presented at Casal Solleric on Saturday, March 22. This exhibition is the first Halley retrospective in Spain since the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía organised it in 1992 and covers the artist’s entire career, from 1985 to 2024.
The conversation between Peter Halley, Guillermo Solana and Enrique Juncosa will be in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish.
