Almine Rech is pleased to announce that artist Thu-Van Tran has been selected as a 2025-2026 fellow of Villa Medici, the French Academy in Rome, Italy.

At the end of a selection procedure for which 752 applications were submitted, the jury of the competition for fellows at Villa Medici selected 16 winners. This new class, representing 8 artistic disciplines and 8 different nationalities, will be welcomed at Villa Medici from September 2025 for a one-year creative, experimental or research residency.
