The "Avant l'orage" exhibition takes visitors on a journey through installations and works by nearly twenty artists, transforming all the museum's spaces.
In the context of climate disruption, between the urgency of the present and the eye of a cyclone, darkness and light, spring and winter, rain and sun, day and night, the human and the non-human coexist in this original presentation of works from the collection. These unstable landscapes, captured in an unsynchronized dance of time, create new ecosystems into which visitors are invited to plunge.
This thematic season takes place in two stages, and will be reactivated at the end of May for the exhibition dedicated to Tacita Dean, to be held in the Rotonde and Galerie 2.
"Everything on Earth is weather. That's what the works in this exhibition are all about. (...) after all, you don't really know whether you're before or after the storm, because the whole world has become a storm. And the storm is nothing other than the song of life." Emanuele Coccia
