Kim Tschang-Yeul La Goutte et le Trait

The Cernuschi Museum is set to showcase an exhibition honoring the renowned artist Kim Tschang-Yeul (1929-2021), who held a prominent position in both contemporary Korean art and the global art scene. Recognized internationally, Tschang-Yeul gained acclaim for his mesmerizing trompe-l'oeil depictions of water droplets. The upcoming exhibition, titled "The Drop and the Line," will specifically focus on the Chinese characters that recurrently appear alongside this motif throughout the master's body of work.
