‘SPOTLIGHT’ turns its attention on recent acquisitions of works by African and Afro-American artists. Among them are Derek Fordjour, Titus Kaphar, Gerald Lovell and Vaughn Spann. How did they experience this period and how has it affected their work?

More than in a traditional exhibition, the viewing depot invites you to experience the works of art directly and up-close. Visitors are invited to explore the works and find possible links between them, far from a compelling and all-encompassing narrative.
